Hydraulic ball valve
Application
The sanitary check valve is used in stainless steel piping systems to prevent the backflow of fluids.
Working principle
▪ When the pressure at the lower part of the valve stem exceeds the pressure at the upper part of the valve stem as well as the spring force, the check valve will open.
When the pressure on the valve stem is balanced both above and below, the valve will close.
A higher reverse pressure will act on the valve stem, causing it to close.
Standard design
The valve body of the check valve is divided into two parts. They are assembled together by a clamp and sealed with a sealing ring. A guiding disc can be used to guide the spring, and the valve core is equipped with a rectangular sealing ring. This series of check valves has welding, clamp, and external thread connection ports, which can be adapted to various pipe connections.
Technical data
▪ If the check valve is installed in a vertical pipe, the pressure required to open the valve is approximately 6 kPa. The maximum conveying material pressure is 1,000 kPa, and the operating temperature range is -10°C to 135°C.
